The FAB is back

The FiveAlarmBees.com server is back up and in its new home, the living room of my La Mesa apartment. Now that I'm on Cox, I've got approximately five times the upload bandwidth, so you can download podcasts and such using modern internet speeds. Once I get the podcast page to work again.

Thanks! My new apartment is awesome, I think I might stay here for more than a year.

Upon further research, it looks like I'm stuck with the ugly URL and DNS redirects and other fun stuff with Cox, so I think I'm going to try to get a real web hosting service like ICD Soft.

So it turns out Cox blocks port 80 (to prevent people from hosting web servers, I think?). So I've been "Cox blocked". Bing! Anyway, as you may have noticed, for now it's been fixed and visitors to www.fivealarmbees.com are redirected to www2.fivealarmbees.com:8000. Now I'm working on tried to hide all the crap in the URL to make it pretty again.
